The Original Pancake House was founded in 1953 by Les Highet and Erma Huenke.  Drawing upon their many years of experience in the culinary field and their comprehensive working knowledge of authentic national and ethnic pancake recipes, they were able to offer without compromise this unique and original menu which has gained national acclaim and remains unchanged to this day.  All of our recipes use only the very finest of ingredients.  

The Original Pancake House franchise came to New Jersey in 1992 with the opening of the West Caldwell location which owner Peter Rentzis and His family have successfully owned and operated since 1968.
